Louisiana Manufacturers Political Action Committee (LAMP) Endorses Malcolm Myer for District 67 State Representative
BATON ROUGE, LA – April 23, 2025 -
The Louisiana Manufacturers Political Action Committee (LAMP) proudly endorses Malcolm Myer in the upcoming election for District 67 State Representative, scheduled for May 3.
With decades of experience in public service, small business, and community engagement, Myer is uniquely equipped to bring trusted, results-driven leadership to the Louisiana House of Representatives. The District 67 seat, representing a vital part of the Baton Rouge region, was recently vacated following the election of former Representative Larry Selders to the Louisiana Senate.
LAMP, representing Louisiana’s chemical manufacturing and industrial sectors, supports candidates who prioritize policies that drive innovation, economic growth, and community development.
“Malcolm Myer is the kind of leader Louisiana needs,” said LAMP Treasurer, David Cresson. “His commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and his proven track record of public service provide him with the insight and experience needed to advocate for our local communities and the industries that sustain them.”
Myer, a longtime resident of District 67, brings over 30 years of public service experience, including his role as Deputy Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections.
“I am honored to receive LAMP’s endorsement,” said Myer. “Our state’s chemical manufacturing industry is not just a cornerstone of our economy, but a driving force behind innovation, job creation, and the prosperity of countless Louisiana families. I am steadfast in my commitment to championing policies that empower this vital sector while fostering safer, more vibrant communities across our great state.”
